Last weekend
14-15.06.2014 next to the Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London in Potters Fields Park Rioja Tapas Fantasticas
took place, it was a fantastic Rioja wine and tapas testing with a great
entertainment. The event was free, however at the entrance you could buy a wine
glass with four tokens for £3.50 which enabled you to try four
amazing wines. There was a huge range of wines and to help ‘wine testers’
vendors were really keen to talk about the history of each wine and how was is made.
Apart from wine, as I mentioned before there was also Spanish food. The flavours
and smells were really appealing, and you just simply couldn’t resist to try as
many as possible like delectable paellas and beef vanilla soup. It was a great opportunity for Spanish food lovers
as you could meet José Pizarro and buy his recipe book. Entertainment was also brilliant, you could sit down on a grass with a glass of wine and immerse yourself into Spanish music. It was definitely a fantastic and relaxing time, I really enjoyed myself and I’m looking forward to next Rioja Tapas Fantasticas!
